Mass Unprotect: how to specify default pwd for opening docs?

Post by bernard meunier »

Hi,

I'm testing PDF tools. Nice tool.
However let's consider you want to remove password protection from many docs,
assuming all source docs are already protected using a same password, is
there a way to specify default password for opening source files?

Beside this, is it possible to derive/compute individual passwords from filename+doc properties?

Regards,
Bernie

Hi Bernie,

Thank you for the post. I've just come from speaking with the dev team and it turns out that this is already planned feature! Unfortunately, I was not able to get a specific timeline for the feature's release.

Cheers!

Hi,

Thank you, I hope that within a 2 years support from buying that feature became reality?

Hi Bernie,

I would suspect so, but unfortunately cannot say for sure.

Thanks,
