Hi all
I am inserting a rubberstamp annotation with image to a pdf. When I open it with Adobe Reader, or XChange Editor I can resize it without trouble. But when I do it in embedded XChange Viewer it leads to making the image invisible and I can only see the white corner boxes. It is an issue in Viewer, right?
I am using PDF-XChange Viewer ActiveX SDK 2.5.0317.0001.

Hello Javo,
Thanks for your post and sample file. This document is PDF/A-2u compliant, and the Viewer could not work with such files properly. I am afraid that now the Viewer (and the SDK) is no longer actively developed, so this is not going to be fixed for the Viewer SDK. If you want to get support for resizing those stamps - you will need to consider switching to the Editor SDK. If you have valid maintenance on your Viewer SDK license - we can offer you a discount for upgrading to the Editor equal to the base cost of the Viewer SDK license.
Regards,
Stefan

Hello, I have the same behavior also with pdf/a-1a. Does it change anything? Or the same applies, that it is a bug in Viewer and I should consider moving to Editor.

Hi Javo,
Unfortunately the Viewer was not handlign any of the PDF/A flavours the same way the Editor does, so indeed I would again recommend looking at the Editor SDK.
If something is not working in the current Viewer SDK, and it's not a critical security issue - it's unlikely to be fixed for the Viewer.
Regards,
Stefan

Please, is there a way to catch an event that the stamp has been resized?

Hello Javo,
I do not think it's possible with the Viewer SDK.
Here's the list of notification events that it will fire:
