Hi,
I think this is the closest forum for my query, apologies if it isn't.
In Word 2010 I have two pdf profiles on the PDF-Xchange tab. "Default" and "Secure Printable".
If the profile is "Default" and I select "secure printable" and click the Convert to PDF button the pdf is generated in accordance with the setting in the secure printable profile.
If I then close and restart Word the profile dropdown shows "secure printable" but clicking the Convert to PDF button the pdf is generated in accordance with the default profile. (i.e. not secure). However if I toggle the profile dropdown then the generated pdf is back in sync with the name displayed in the profile dropdown.
It is as if the dropdown profile name is persistent but the profile settings resets to default between restarts of Word.
Windows 10 64 bit April 2018 update (was also happening prior to this update)
Microsoft Office 32 bit 2010
PDF Editor
I will upgrade to 326 and report back.
Cheers
Red

Upgraded PDF-XChange to 7.0.326.0 and the profile issue still exists

Yes sure.
This is the default drop down selected And the secure printable selected And for good measure these are the profiles available in the profile manager

Hello RedSharpEye,
Could you please try repairing the installation of the office suite.
This is done in the following way.
In Windows 10:
Please go to Settings -> Apps -> Microsoft Office 2016 ( the location is the same for other versions )
Click only once on the office and choose Modify.
On the window that will pop up, choose Repair:
If it asks what kind of repair you want to do, select an "online repair".
After the repair is finished, please restart your computer.
When your system starts, please install your PDF-Exchange software again.
I hope that this will fix the problem.
Regards.
