Re: djvu fo pdf
Hello tomaasz,
There are no such plans for now, but maybe your DJVU viewer can "print" these files - and you can then print them to our virtual printers. This should create a valid PDF file with selectable and searchable PDF text inside.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: djvu fo pdf
Thanks Stefan,
I use WinDjView 2.1 viewer, and can select text inside djvu document.
After I print djvu file by "PDF-X Change Lite" virtual printer I receive nontext selectable pdf file ;(
Please check in attached file

Hello tomaasz,
The attachment seems to be missing - please try adding the file once again, and if it's too big - include just a sample page.
I suspect that your DJVU viewer might be sending 'curves' instead of actual text to the driver and that's why your PDF is then not searchable. Please check the printing settings, or try a different DJVU viewer and see if that will help!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: djvu fo pdf
Hello tomaasz,
It looks like the DJVU file contains an invisible text layer over the existing image.
Unfortunately, the DJVU Viewer doesn't forward that layer in a way for our PDF printer to recognize it.
In order to keep keep the editable text, you have to use the OCR tool, at least until we make a suitable plug-in that will preserver the whole content of the DJVU files.
Regards.

Re: djvu fo pdf
Hello tomaasz,
This is not likely to happen in the near to medium term, so your best bet would be to find a DjVu viewer which can natively convert files to PDF - so that you avoid the 'printing' step, and such a tool might then also preserve your invisible layer of text.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello tomaasz,
As already mentioned higher up in this topic - we are not really planning on adding such native conversion at this time.
Kind regards,
Stefan
