Hi,
We are trying to find a way to programmatically create the pdf's used by the custom stamps in the new viewer.
We were able to modify the existing stamps using Adobe Illustrator, but only the exact number that the original file had. We need to be able to add additional stamp pages to the pdf and have these be recognized by the stamps dropdown in the viewer activex.
We think we need to create named entries that point to our new pages with our new stamps on them.
We think the only way to do this is to use the low level functions to create new named object entries.
We think our first step is to create a routine to walk the pdf xref tree and provide us with some insight into how these stamps are stored internally.
Any info you could give us on either, a) how did you guys create your custom stamp files. b) any examples of using low level functions.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. You guys are doing a great job.
Any examples of using low-level functions

Hi,
I am afraid the Low Level API in the XCPRO35/40 Library is offered totally unsupported as stated in the documentation very clearly and we offer no help or examples - specifically because it is so very complex and requires considerable knowledge of the PDF format - however ....
Custom stamps is coming to the Viewer SDK directly - in Build 2.038 some 3-4 weeks away approx and I would therefore strongly urge to hold off until then.
