PDF-XChange 4 PRO SDK and Visual Studio - problems

Post by martinpaulik »

Hi,

I use demo version and I need to implement library from PDF-XChange 4 PRO SDK to my application. I read help and some examples but I don't know how to do it. Could you help me? Do you have some instructions how to do it?

Thanks. Martin

Hi Martin,

In order to point you in the right direction Martin please let us know the following:

a)what specifically you want to do

b)which component of Visual Studio you are developing in.

c)what specific problem you are running into

Thanks,
Chris

Martin,

could you give a more detailed description of specifically where you are having problems - there are numerous examples - but for sure they are not going to show you how to develop a Document Management system completley - and do rely on you having reasonable experience in development - without wishing to be rude, if you dont have this - its going to be tough !

Please let me know the version of Visual Studio you are using: 6, 2002, 2003, 2005 or 2008 ?

Hi Ivan,

thanks, it is Visual Studio 2008.

My potential client wants to convert .DOC and .XLS files to PDF and merge these files to one PDF file. Finally, he wants to sign it by digital certificate. Is there some examples for merge files and sing by dig. certificate? Thanks.

Looks like you are trying to use VB.Net example, not VB.

There is PXCProDemo samples for VB, VB.Net, C++, C and Delphi.
