Summarize comments

Post by georgo77 »

Hi

I'm using PDF-XChange Viewer.

For me it could be interesting to summarize comments in a table. This may ba a text file with comma separated values per data-set (in one row).
Currently I can do this after just with a programmed makro that reads the summarized txt file (using excel or openoffice calc).

Do you thin you can implement this in one of you next updates?

Thanks for your answer.

Hi!

Are you using the Clarion software development system, or some other development system such as Visual Studio or Delphi?

Hello georgo77,

I have moved this topic to Viewer End User questions where it belongs.

Also you might be able to extract all comments information using JS, as described here. To show the JS console Press Ctrl + J, and if you need to do this more often, you might be able to run this JS code through the command line (I am pretty sure there was a topic on the subject but could not find it in a 6-7 minute search :( ).

Best,
Stefan
