How to delete a hyperlink

I can place a rectangle hyperlink but cannot delete it. How?
Using the latest version 2,5 build 193.

It is not clear to me what you mean by end-user. I downloaded the free version and I am examaning to possible purchase of PDF Xchange viewer for our firm. I tried to attach a screen dump but jpg isn't allowed.

Hi - please put the jpg in a zip file - you will then be allowed to upload that to the forums.

You also need to register to post to the correct Viewer Forum for end user products (e.g. NON software Developer tools)

Hi everybody,

Sorry, it appears that this post is in the wrong section. It is about the End User version.

You can move it to the End User forum current releases. I don't know how things got wrong but when I started in this support forum there where only two sections: Dev and Clarion All (don't know what that means, English is not my native language). Now one day later there are a lot more. I now have access to the End User also. Now also realize why the questions about Dev or End User were asked.

BTW the question itself is very simply: how to delete a hyperlink. I have in the context menu of a hyperlink only two options: "Open URL" or "Copy URL". My and my college's are puzzled because somehow one should be able to erase/delete an already placed hyperlink.

Hi rrvdplas,

thanks for the clarification. If this is a link that was created using the "Rectangle Link Tool" or the "Quadrilateral Link Tool" then t is as simple as selecting it with the "Select Tool" and with a right click hitting delete.

If it is not a link created with either of these PDF-XChange Viewer then we really cannot tell you more until we see the sample that you were asked for.

BUT - the PDF file would be better than the JPG screenshot for sure !

Got it!

Just have to make the button for hyperlink active. Then the context menu has a lot more options, such as Delete.
Case solved.
