We are testing the PDF printer, and every time it sends a file to print, the printed area is cropped to Letter size, no matter what page size is selected. It is the same when printing from Revit and from PDF XChange Editor. The print size eg. A1 is selected in the program [Print Settings], in the [PDF driver > Paper Settings > Page Size] as well [Paper Settings > Layout Sheet Size]. We get the same result with [Choose Paper Size by Document Size] selected or not.

I have PDF-XChange Printer Lite 2012, Version 5.5 build 308.2 running on Windows 7 Pro x64 (SP1).

Does anyone have a workaround for this bug ?

Thanks for the post - could you tell me if this only happens when printing from Revit, or does this happen when printing from any application? Also, does this happen with just our printer, or with any other printer?

not only Revit, I have exactly the same issue printing from PDF-XChange Editor. but primarily our PDFs come from Revit and almost always A1 size.

Thanks for the post - this issue is 2 years old, so I suspect that if you're still seeing it, you're using quite an old release. Please try Version 6 Build 318.1 and see if that helps:

We all have installed the latest version. Only I have the print problem.
The sheet size is always 220 x 110mm. I've removed and reinstalled both programs already but no result.
Both versions of Revit (2016 and 2017) have the same problem.
Also downloaded a old version of XChange, same problems.

Thanks for getting back to me - That's very odd and I'm not seeing this here. Does this happen when printing from other applications as well? Can you please try creating a TMP file and sending that to us?

Can you please post here a screenshot of your "Paper" settings of the printer?

I suspect you have set "Sheet size" to some specific size and that means all pages will have this size regardless of on which paper application prints.
So, if it is the case, please set "Sheet size" to "Auto".

What is the result if you print a document of another, smaller page size? Say, A4 or Letter. Still the same fixed output page size (220 x 110mm)?

smaller size's work, up to A2. Also in Revit, so I think it's not program related. From Revit we always print > A2
bigger than A2, envelop C3 and B4 goes wrong.
All costum size's go wrong also smaller than A2.

Please give me the output of the following command on your machine (enter it in the Command Prompt window): Also please confirm that the problem exists when printing a small text document from Windows notepad (setup A1 page size in the printer preferences).

It's exactly the same as my college were it works well.

Also from notepad, i get a 110x220mm sheet when print to A1

Have you managed to solve the problem?

I am using the latest build and having the same issue: no matter the paper size I choose - trying both standard and custom - the output is printed on A4 making it impossible to print bigger sizes.

Some time ago there were some workarounds with switching between PDF-XChange Lite and Standard printers back and forth and toggling driver mode (GDI / XPS) - both not working anymore.

Will try to revert to previous versions to see if they work properly.

Is it possible to arrange a teamviewer session with support team?
