Hi,

we use your OCR-DLL with Deskew-function. Great feature!
But now we need to correct the skew in scanned images without OCR.

So, please how can I skew an image only (without OCR)?
Is there a way to do this? Maybe with your other X-Change-SDK-Tools?

But Image-XChange 4 SDK is an old product and the quality of deskew is very bad instead of this OCR-DLL

OCR SDK uses the same library as Image-XChange SDK
Can you check versions of your dll's of OCR and Image-XChange?

I've installed last week the trial of "Image-XChange SDK". But the deskew result is bad and the routine is very slow.

And sorry, I'm always very confused about the product name policy from tracker Software

So I use "PDF-XChange Pro SDK". As I can see, "Image-XChange SDK" is no part of this BigPack. Is this correct or do you know, if my serial is also valid for "Image-XChange SDK"?

Sure! Please see the attached samples:

"Untitled1.tif" was generated with "AxImages Demo Project" from your examples Folder - Deskew option = "Fast"
Result is bad and the deskew-performance is slow.

"Untitled2.tif" was generated with "AxImages Demo Project" from your examples Folder - Deskew option = "Antialias"
Result is bad and the deskew-performance is slow.

"FromOCRDLL.pdf" was generated with the OCR-DLL. The Line is wonderful straight and the text is sharp. Also the performance is very fast! = PERFECT!

But the OCR-DLL converts only from PDF. I need Deskew from image to image. That's what I'm looking for!

Can you send the original image before applying deskew to it?

Yep, see the attached TIF.

But this "original image" is irrelevant. Because the poor result occurs with every image.

Which example did you use?
Seems the C# example has the Antialiasing option disabled. And VB sample has troubles as well.
But Delphi sample works well.

And VB sample have a troubles too.

Then please try using the Delphi samples as a starting point.

And unfortunately the Image XChange SDK needs a separate license.
