We've been distributing your Lite driver with our product for some years now. We recently moved from your version 4 Lite driver to your version 5 Lite driver.

I just had a user report that the size of the resulting PDF files printed with the version 5 Lite driver are much bigger than with the old version 4 Lite driver.

See the attached zip file for the examples.

Is there any reason for this?

Also, I see in the version 5 Lite driver the "PDF Producer" tag is not filled in like it was with the version 4 Lite driver so you know the exact build of the driver that was used.

Again, is there a way to reduce the size with the version 5 driver?

As I see, for some reason some parts of the file generated by V5 are not compressed. Will check why it happens and surely will fix the issue if it still present.

Do you know yet the future build number I should be watching out for with this fix in it?

Hi Jeff,

Ivan works from the Canadian office, so I can't check with him at the moment, but given his description I would say that the fix is likely to be in build 316 (Dec./Jan. release).
