I have PDF-XChange Viewer 2.5.214.2. It is the Pro version, which requires a s/n to activate. It works fine. Tracker considers the Viewer obsolete, and replaced it with Editor. I also have a Pro version of Editor, but I prefer to use Viewer.

Going through Tracker's Viewer archive, I noticed that there are several newer builds, the most recent 2.5.321.0. I downloaded the portable version to try it. But it won't accept my s/n to upgrade it to Pro. I went to the Tracker website, and it says I can get a newer s/n for $54. I don't understand why I should have to buy a new serial number for a product that Tracker considers is obsolete.

Can someone explain this to me? Is there another option that I am missing?

Sorry about that. I could not find an email address for Tracker, and the info on their website pages said send inquires to the forum.
