Flattening not working on signature stamp

I'm using a transparent png signature stamp on a document, but it refuses to flatten using flatten comments. Never had this problem before, until now (Editor Plus ver 6.0 build 317.0). Any ideas as to why I can still edit the content on a flattened pdf?

Duplicated post: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... 12#p117402

When you flatten a comment or annotation in a PDF, it becomes part of the base content and it is no longer seen as a comment.

With Adobe Reader or PDF-XChange Viewer, you can not edit a flattened comment anymore.

But, with PDF-XChange Editor, you still can: you can edit, move or even delete that item via "Edit Content" mode.

When PDF-XChange Editor is working in "Edit Comments" mode, it has the same behavior as in other PDF 'readers':
in that situation you can not edit a flattened comment anymore.

Ok, so stamps are considered as comments. Is there a way to make an electronic signature be tied to a signature stamp say, so it can't be altered without it being known? Again, sorry for the duplicate post, I couldn't find a way to delete my prior post. Thank you!

Hi guys,

Thanks for the post and thanks for the help Willy!

lknowlton - If you want to create a digital signature with your actual signature as the graphic, follow the instructions here (they're for the Viewer, but should be nearly identical in the Editor) and select 'Custom Grahic':
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowle ... -documents

Cheers,
