I propose adding an “Initial View” item to the “Sanitize Document Options” list, which resets the following settings for processed documents to default values:
Navigation View
Page Layout
Action Type
Show in title
Open in Full Screen Mode
Resize Window to Initial Page
Center Window on Screen
Hide Menu bar
Hide Toolbars
Hide Window Controls
That is, so that when opening documents processed in this way, for example, an annoying prompt does not appear to switch to full screen:
Entering to Full Screen:
The document is trying to put PDF-XChange Editor in full screen mode, which takes over your screen. In this mode, it is possible to present documents that look like other applications, including applications that request your personal information.
Would you like to allow this document to enter full screen mode?
The Sanitize documents function is intended to remove potentially sensitive data, items that could contain identifying information which may be overlooked, not necessarily to remove default actions present in a PDF. You can quickly remove this specific action from the document properties by unchecking the open in fullscreen checkbox:

I will pass along the idea to offer a "reset initial view" option, but if implemented, I would expect to see it as part of something like the "save as optimized" function, and not the Sanitize function.

Unfortunately, this method can hardly be considered fast when you need to remove this property (or make sure that it is not assigned) from tens of thousands of documents.
My apologies, somehow I managed to overlook the fact that Tools offers a much more accessible and elegant solution to this problem.
The "change document properties" action, includes configurations for initial view, including this specific property, simply enable this action in your tool, configure the settings, and you are good to go:
