Document not printed correctly
Hello everyone,
The attached document is not printed correctly. The upper left corner where there is a logo with white text over black background comes out in all black.
doc.zip contains the original document, and output.zip contains the output document.
Please help.
Thanks,
Guy Marom

Re: Document not printed correctly
This does not appear to be an issue in the latest 162 release Guy,
Please update.
Also - silly question - but why 're-print' the file ?

Re: Document not printed correctly
I installed build 162 and it's still not working well.
Attached are the printer settings I thought might be relevant for you to determine why it isn't working.
And the question is not silly at all and there's a good explanation. We print numerous file formats to PDF files (That's why we as using your printer driver). One of the requirements is to make sure all PDFs have the same page size, so we re-print the PDFs and output them as Letter/A4/Any other custom size.

Re: Document not printed correctly
From which application (Adobe Acrobat, FoxIt, or our viewer) did you print?

Re: Document not printed correctly
Will check what I can do here. Looks like unsupported ROP sequence was used during printing.

Re: Document not printed correctly
This is half fixed.
Now the file I attached comes out with a black background where there shouldn't be any (Attached - First File Output.pdf)
And I attached a second file that also has weird results (Attached - Second File.pdf, Second File Output.pdf).
Please fix this asap... This is taking a long time.

Re: Document not printed correctly
Looks like this may be OS dependant - the project team have tested and on Windows Vista/7 all was well, Will check further under XP - can you please advise your OS and is it 32/64 bit ?

Re: Document not printed correctly
Hi Guy,
in our tests here with 167 this appears correct - can you please send a sample file if you are 100% sure this is still a problem so we can check, please ensure that after the update you did restart Windows or the driver will not yet have been udpated in your Windows system.
thanks.

Re: Document not printed correctly
Please let me know the exact version of Acrobat (Reader) you used for printing, also - you use the x32 or x64 version of XP ?

Can you send me .tmp file when you print this file from your Acrobat ?

Re: Document not printed correctly
Hello Guy,
We just tested with Adobe Reader 7.0.8, 8, and 9.2.0.124, using build 168 of our drivers and in all it seemed fine.
Another thing that I noticed is that Adobe was converting the fonts in that PDF to images while our Viewer preserved them.
Please find attached test files printed with driver build 168 from our Viewer and Adobe 9.2.0
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Document not printed correctly
Well, your output is fine, the only difference is that we converted the file to grayscale (All 3 images options are set to "Convert To Grayscale").
Please try it this way
