When you open the print dialog in an application (e.g. Microsoft Word) you can modify the properties of the printer via the printer properties dialog.
About the virtual printer I can create with PDF X-Change API SDK I would like to know:
1 - Is it possibile to customize the dialog, or better to write my own dialog? The standard dialog (beautiful and very well done) is too difficult for my customers: they need much less options , and an easier way to set them !!!
2 - How can I read the properties set in the printer properties dialog?
Thanks in advance!
Federico.

Re: printer properties dialog
For now it is not possible, and I don't even know how to allow 3rd party applications to customize the properties dialog.

Re: printer properties dialog
Thank you for your answer.
And about the second part of question?
Is it possible to read the properties set by the user in the printer properties dialog?
Thanks,
Federico.

Re: printer properties dialog
Sorry - can you explain more clearly - do you mean after the user has called the print dialogue - but before he has set the print job running ?
If so - no.
Please explain in more detail your need..
Thanks
