Yes Martin,
You would need to use the PDF-XChange Drivers SDK ...
Full examples and documentation is available in the SDK download :
www.tracker-software.com/PDFSDKPRO4.zip
The above download is for the full PRO SDK - which is everything we do for PDF - though your users could just use the Drivers API SDK only if they are not likely to need to convert images/scan to PDF or modify existing PDF's etc - they just need to convert files from the command line - but they will need to code an application to manage this - its not something you can just do without coding an application to achieve.

Re: PDF-XChange 4 SDK and converting to PDF by command line
Hi John,
is it possible to use "batch converting" from user's application from the command line too? Our potential client has own application and he wants to use batch converting from this application...is it possible for any application or for MS Office application only?
Thanks. Martin

Hi Martin,
This is possible for MS Office formats only and rely's on Office being installed on the machine - its also prohibited by the licnese to install and share (e.g. on a server)
Hope that helps
