The Support Team Has Asked Me To Send Sharepoint Log Files

My Sharepoint plugin is not working as intended, How do I setup and send these files.

After Creating the files, please send them to Support@tracker-software.com

Resolution

 Follow the steps below, as well as those provided to you via email while you perform this task.

  1. Open Start and Search for regedit.exe

  1. Create or Find key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFXEditor\3.0\Debug

**Notice: you may have to create this**

  1. Right Click the 3.0 folder and navigate to New > Key

  1. Name the key Debug

  1. Create or Edit the value "SPLog" type "DWORD", value "2".

**Again you may have to Create this one**

  1. Right Click on Debug, and navigate to New > DWORD (32-bit) Value

  1. Name it SPLog.

  1. Right Click the SPLog file and navigate to Modify...
  2. Change the Value data to 2. Then Click OK

  1. Close the Regedit Window.
  2. Restart Windows.

**This is important for the registry keys to be fully registered and properly record data.**

  1. Start Editor with SharePoint plugin enabled.
  2. Test your issue a few times. This could be something like opening/saving a file, If you have a file you know works and one that does not performing the operation on both will help us gather more data about the problem.
  3. Close the Editor.
  4. Get log file by pressing Win+R and then:
  5. Type %TEMP% into the dialog.
  6. Find and send us file "PDFX-SharePoint.log"
  7. Re-open Start and Search for regedit.exe again.
  8. Change the value of "SPLog" from step 3 to "0" or remove the "SPLog". 
  9. Right Click the SPLog file and navigate to Modify...
  10. Change the Value data to 0. Then Click OK

Then, Send the results to Support@tracker-software.com.
