Available as a locally installed device - or shared Network printer.
Includes Demo applications for C++/MFC++/VB/VB.NET/C# etc and accompanying Documentation.
Raster-XChange SDK (Local Edition)
Raster-XChange SDK (Local) offers developers to integrate the ability to output any document or file that can be printed through a Windows application to any of the supported image formats - i.e. save your MS Office, PDF, AutoCAD files etc to an image file - just click and print to TIFF a file for example, using the Raster-XChange printer !
Raster-XChange SDK (Server Edition)
Raster-XChange SDK (Server) offers the same functionality as the 'Local' version - however may be installed locally or as a shared 'Server' device without any installation required on any client PC - simply attached to the shared printer on the server.
Raster-XChange SDK offers the following features:
Works as a Printer Driver and may be used by any Windows program that generates printed output.
Supports both 32-bit (W2K/XP) and 64-bit Windows (XP64/Vista).
May be installed as a Local or Server Printer.
May be used either as a stand-alone printer or tied to a developer's specific applications.
Supports both Standard Paper Sizes and also Custom Form sizes.
Supports Macro File Naming for generating image file names at run time.
Supports Post-Generation application support for handling the image file after creation.
Supports sending generated image files by Email. The file can be sent "raw" or automatically archived in a ZIP file.
Supports creation of Job Profiles that automatically set all parameters for standard, repeatable jobs. Profiles may be exported as RXP files and imported by other users so all may share the same Job Profiles.
Output Mono, Grayscale or full Colour - as required.
Supports output to the following standard image types:
BMP - Windows Bitmap
PNG - Portable Network Graphics
GIF - Compuserve Graphics Interchange Format
PBM - Portable Bitmap
PGM - Portable Graymap
PPM - Portable Pixel Map
JBIG2 - Joint Bi-level Imaging Group 2
JPEG - Joint Photographic Expert Group
JPEG2000 - JPEG 2000
JNG - JPEG Network Graphics
PCX - PC Paintbrush File Format
DCX - Multipage PCX
TGA - Truevision Targa
TIFF - Tag Image File Format

Version 1: Microsoft/Citrix Terminal Server compatible*.
* Note: Though many users have virtualized some of our component products such as the PDF-XChange Viewer and PDF-Tools application using XenApp, we do not support this at this time. Particularly the printer drivers are not designed to work in a virtualized environment.
To experience the best performance of our products on all Windows operating systems, the onus is on users to ensure that they have all the latest available Microsoft Windows Service Packs & Updates installed.
Evaluation versions of our SDK software are fully functional, allowing the testing and full utilization of all SDK features, Developers need to be aware that any test documents will have a demo watermark placed on every page of any PDF created or modified with the evaluation versions.
We recommend which ever option you decide is best suited for your needs - that you use the evaluation SDK's to the maximum prior to purchase to ensure satisfaction and only purchase when ready to recompile you completed application ready for distribution to your clients - with your license strings, to remove the demo watermarks restrictions.
As we do not offer refunds after issuing licensing info.
The Raster-XChange SDK is available on a Royalty Free distribution basis (for the Run Time Driver) to software developers to build in raster image file creation into their software applications provided only that they are for end user use (not as part of a tool for software developers) and may not be redistributed in a standalone sale - but must form part of a package the developer has created and for which TIFF file creation will not be the primary function - but an added value option.
Please see the license contained in the evaluation version download for details.
