We would like to inform you that recently we have updated our Privacy Statement to comply with new Data Privacy laws in the European Union and several other countries around the world.
The Privacy Statement governs our use of our customer's data in relation to our PDF-XChange brand products, communications, support and services. Some of the updates we have made address the new requirements in the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as to how we manage and process personal data.
You may be familiar with similar concerns regarding personal data protection recently coming to light in the news affecting jurisdictions outside the EU so we’ve made the decision to implement the same data protection standards and policies legislated for the EU across the board in our organizations to protect all of our international user’s personal data even if your jurisdiction currently does not have National Data Protection legislation in place yet, as we are confident that more jurisdictions will follow suit and employ similar privacy legislation in the near future.
In order to ensure data protection legislation compliance, as part of our reseller program we require that all resellers, distributors and suppliers complete the attached Data Protection Agreement to ensure that all upstream and down stream communications, user data and access to customer information, where at times, both of our organizations may be in the role of the Data Controller or Data Processor.
These changes will be applied and relevant to each of our 3 group companies you may have dealt with in the past; PDF-XChange Co Ltd, Tracker Software Products (Canada) Ltd and Haarlem Software Ltd.
Note that a completed Data Protection Agreement must be in place before we can approve your reseller account.
