I opened a pdf file. After reading, I minimized xchange viewer to taskbar. I worked in other applications like word, excel and so on.
After that, I restored xchange viewer. In that moment, xchange viewer crashed.
Idea: Some kind of memory problem in xchange viewer. Perhaps xchange viewer removes data from memory if it's idle for a longer time and than it has trouble with restoring.
PDFXCview.exe 2.0.0040.0004 caused exception C0000006 at address 008FA8DA (Base: 400000)
Yes, Viewer free memory (actually after 10 minutes, or even less when minimized), but it should be able to restore data.
Regarding to error code - it seem that original file was no longer avail when you try to restore Viewer. This may happen if file was opened over network and network connection was closed, or it was on removable media, which was removed. If you are sure that this is not case - please provide a file and as much additional information as possible (better use Help->Report a problem).

Thanks, I remember that it was a file which I opened on my computer over network (from laptop). But I don't remember if laptop was turned off before opening that file again or not.
If file was opened from a network location which is no longer avail?
Yes, we can, but I'm afraid that this cannot be easily fixed. The Viewer require's that the file remains open and avail at all times (until closed, of course), and situation where the file is no longer avail is abnormal.
